AL SS590 M6 ...

Well, with skinnies and wheels, I'm still 70 lbs heavier, let's call that along with the cut out and loud mouth a wash.

My TC is a Yank 3200, not a Vig, with only a 1.86 STR, compared to your ST3500's 2.5 ... advantage to you.

Give me an advantage, with the LTs, short belt and gears ...

Induction aside, not accounting for D/A, we're more less equal ...

Which is what I said, a lid by itself is not comparable to a FIPK, that it takes a FTRA or equilvalent CAI system to equal the performance a FIPK ... then you are left dealing with the dollar equation, design intergration and personal asthetics when making your choice.

... M

What would really be fun is to have them both at the same track and compare times and IAT readings. But I can't see either of us making a 6000 mile round trip to run at the others track

Already checked IATs ... by pulling the washer reservior and shroud, it took 20 minutes for the IATs to come up 18* over ambient, with the hood closed and intemitently reving the engine.

Agreed, it's always fun to line 'em up, but as far as comparison, besides overcoming the 6000 miles, I did some more changes over the winter ... H/C now, still need tuning and it radically changed my launch geometry - but the base line dyno was 402 rwhp/388 rwtq and some test runs have been in the high 11s and 115/116 mph at 3720 lbs ...
