LS1 gurus in the house?

I seem to have this idea in my head that the LS1s come with 15* heads. I always thought it was a fact. And then last night talking to a buddy of mine with an LS1 it came up and he seemed to have no clue what I was talking about. Am I making this up for myself as an excuse for the LS1s awesome HP? ( ) Or do I know what I am talking about?

Umm try posting this in the LS1 tech section of the board and delete this thread to save the mods time.

SBC/LT1: 22*
LS1: 15*
C5-R: 11*

SBC/LT1 = 23º

Other than that, Correctomundo!

How come nobody uses the GM LS1 GT-2 heads?

Close enough.

Do you mean the CNC LS6 heads that were done by Lingenfelter for GM? I know of two downsides - heavy milling and huge runners.

No the revised 11º heads, huge *** ports, offset lifters are required as well as Jesel's shaft rocker arm system.
