LS1 Guru Test...ie my problem

OK got a hard one here. I have an LS1 with all bolt ons, AFR heads, compcams cam, FAST intake and stock lower end. I just got done putting it together yesterday and I'm having misfires on cyclinders 5 and 6. I've got new plugs and wires already so i don't think it's that. The fuel injecters are getting signal as well as there is spark going to the plugs. Can anyone shed some light on the situation for me? Thanks

That's what we're tryin to check out. Do you know if you have to install the coil pack completely to get it to work properly. I tried using a new coil by just hooking up the wires but thought maybe it needs to be grounded somehow. Hooking up the new one did not make a difference.

How big is the cam. Is it a random misfire code it is throwing. It could be a tuning issue. You might pull the valve covers off again and check the rockers/pushrods. I doubt it is the coils those things are pretty durable. My personal opinion is that it is tuning. Unless the car is idleing rough. If it is running rough check the springs, pushrods, and Rockers.

Hey, thanks for the help guys, figured out what the problem was. Not sure if my torque wrench is bad now or what but the rockers were not tight when I took the vavle cover off last night. Thus I tightened them up and she runs great now, thanks for the help!
