I want to know if the v6 air box from a 1999 camaro is the same as the air box for a ls1. I know the lid is not the same, but what about the part bolted down onto the radiator. I am asking because I am doing a lid conversion on my 97 TA and found a v6 box cheap, Just wondering if my mti lid will work on the v6 lower assembly. Thanks

 

I really don't know but I would take my Ls1 lid to a junk/salvage/recycle yard that has a scrapped V6 car and try it.

 

I dont know for sure but I think it is because the air filters are exactly the same as well. I think the lids are the same too, ofcourse the baffle box and the hoses are not.
