Hey guys, I'm not familiar with LS1s and swapping trannies so I need your help. My boss has an 02 SS auto and we are wanting to swap a six speed out of an 01 firehawk. Both cars will be side by side being worked on so swapping parts won't be a problem. However the guy with the firehawk says that the computer needs to be programmed. I know on the LT1s that this isn't necessary. This is my main question, does the PCM need to be reprogrammed, and if so who can do it and how much?? Also, what parts need to be transferred?? We are only concerned with the essentials, i.e. reverse lights, reverse lockout solenoid if it isn't too much of a hassle.

Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated!!
