Do you guys think the LS1 will hit 12's on street tires w/headers , lid , and bellow ?
I wanna be running 12's on street tires bye spring . Im putting in a new clutch ,LT headers , and maybe having the LS1 edit done ..If the tax return is big enough...She is getting a cam

 

I've gone 12's on not the greatest street tires w/my mods, so I'm assuming that you can as well....especially w/headers.

Wow Eric L, it definitey looks like your tires are holding your back....er, or not holing for that matter. lol Get some DR's on that sucker.

 

Hehehe.. i know i know.. and its not even the launch.. i can get 2.01 60's on these tires.. when i shift into second and third i lose traction... i couldn't imagine what i'd be running with 1.8 60's and not spinning in 2nd

 

Probably similar times as me, if not faster. I have the same problem too when I go to the track w/my street tires instead of the nitto's. I can cut a 1.95 60' all day long on those things, but I really have issues at the top of 1st gear and half way through 2nd. I make the 2-3 shift really hard and it always breaks the nittos loose, so you can imagine what it does to my street tires. I've had the car go sideways on me before from making that shift too hard.

 

12.40s all day with 1.80 short time at 110mph.

 

Do you have any suspension mods ?
