Lowering Car Need Some Help

Recently I got 18" Z06 Wheels for my car and I also got Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs. My question is do I also need Shocks. At the site where I got the springs http://www.lmperformance.com/c/1/1.html they said that these springs work with the OEM shocks. Has anyone lowered their car without replacing the shocks, anyone with experience lowering their car please lend some advice.

Re: Lowering Car Need Some Help

I originally lowered using the prokit and didn't change the shock or struts. It was OK for a little while, but it seemed to soft. The stock stuff isn't really heavy duty enough for the stiffer aftermarket springs and I found that they couldn't control the springs right. I talked to Strano Performance and they made suggestions on the best shocks for my setup.

Umm...4th gens dont have struts up front, that was the 3rd gens. And it is a good idea to get new shocks because the spring rate is different and the stockers might not beable to keep up.
