how low?

DMS - dynamic motorsports - sells 1" lowering springs

eibach and hotchis and most others sell 1.25" drop, and eibach sportlines drop it 2"

then you'll need new shocks....look into bilsteins or koni

and probably relocation brackets and adjustable panhard bar...look into bmr fabrication

Teke184 is correct. I bought the Eibach Sportlines for my 00 SS about a year ago. I got a 1.8" drop all around. It is a nice drop but the ride is real bumpy, you can feel every bump. I have order a new pair of shocks from Competition Engineering (Adj. Drag Shock -rear) and koni adj shocks for the front.

I went with the eibach pro's and got a package deal from Thunder Racing which included springs/ relocation brackets/ adjustable panhard bar. It seems that my rear springs are fading but the front are fine. I will try buying the rear pair first and install them myself to see if that solves my ruff ride.

DMS springs are very cheap, and still give a very smooth ride, i got rid of my eibachs for them. Nothing but good things can be said for the DMS springs.

Sportlines, no handling has been comprimised here with stock shocks. The ride is a little bumby at times but im not driving a caddy, im driving a sports car.

BTW I have no trouble getting around these crappy NE roads with LT either.

eric...really?
i thought that one of the reasons your's were becoming so popular was that they had a smaller drop than the prokit. hm

not to mention they are half the price

hm...interesting...gives me something else to consider as i research lowering springs...

thanks for the clarification
