Lowered with LTs?

Anyone here of any problems having your car lowered AND having LTs? I know I'm getting some Hookers for sure, but I don't know if I should lower. I was thinking of the Eibach Pro-kit. Any knowledge from anyone?

I'm lowered with headers. I experience no problems. Then again, I drive sanely over speed bumps and such. Lower your car with LTs will cause you to pay carefull attention to large bumps. However, overall, no problems for me

The best LT headers on a lowered car are FLP's hands down. They tuck up real well. The worst are SLP's. Basically if you stay away from SLP's & are careful when diving you'll be fine.

Granted yes its confusing when there are so many conflicting opinions. However, I wouldn't change a thing in my setup (IMO). Like I mentioned above. I have LTs and lowering springs and love 'em. No problems here

Hookers will work good on a lower car. They tuck up really good. The y pipe is a different story . You might want to have a custom y pipe made for them.

I am one of the few with TPIS, and they are low. I have the Pro-kit and really have to pay attention when going over bumps. You can kind of see how low they hang in this picture.

Confusing is right!
I have heard that FLPs hang a half an inch too low on the driver's side for lowered cars. SLPs hang too low for lowered cars, PERIOD. Hookers tuck up better than the stock exhaust.
I think folks just go to bat for the brand they have.
One thing I know for sure... after lurking and posting LS1 sites for 3 years, the FLPs have a FAR worse reputation for poor quality than any other header, so I will get the Hookers on my lowered car when the time comes. I have seen the pics from the side looking under the car and you can't even see the pipes, seeing is believing.

Hookers

I'm getting hookers. I've been researching headers for a while trying to make up my mind and the final decision was made b/w Hookers and FLP's. However, FLP seems to vary too much, some people have no problems, some people have lots of problems with them. Hookers seem to be more consistent and I have yet to hear a problem that would cause me to not buy them.

Well damn, from the way it sounds I'm gonna end up goin with the Hookers still. So I take it no one thinks it's a good idea to use their Ypipe though? How much would a 'typical' exhaust shop charge to make a custom one? Thanks for all the replies everyone.

The only real problem w/ the ypipe is on the tube that comes from the drivers side header. the pipe is bent down to clear a crossmeber. You could buy the y pipe for them and have someone replace that part w/ some oval pipe from spintech to give you some more clearance. If it wasnt for that bend the y pipe would be fine.
