Loudmouth is pretty damn loud! I reccommend getting the Y pipe along with the loudmouth setup though. Its a wide open setup so it frees up some horses. I love my setup but some think its too loud.

i originally had the flowmaster, and then i upgraded to a cutout cos the flowmaster wasn't loud enough. personally, i love the sound of the cutout. the beauty of that is that i can still cap the cutout on long trips or when i have people in the car who don't appreciate the sound of a small block V8. i'd recommend just leaving the flowmaster and getting a cutout.

the loudmouth is basically a glorified cutout that can't be capped.

as far as gains, i gained about 15 RWHP with the cutout AND a lid. don't know how much of that was the cutout, but i'm guessing about 7-8 RWHP from the cutout.

I have the loud mouth with LT headers y-pipe. let me tell ya it is loud but it does sound good at the same time. IMO it is the best way to go for price and performance. SLP claims 20 horses over stock. dont know over the flows. But i think that you will be more than happy.

I had a flowmaster muffler only it sounds good, but the LM is better ,don't waste your money on the Y-pipe it's worthless and you'll end up replacing it anyways when you get headers.
