Heard of dynomat? Its some pretty cool stuff that blocks sound. Its a bit of a job to install, but its probably one of your only options.

Yes, Dynomat sound deadening material will help.

But you did get a LOUDmouth. You didn't think it was gonna be quiet, did you?

My flowmaster is loud enough inside for me at 75mph crusing, I probably couldnt handle a real exaust setup.

Thumbs up

You have many options:
Resonator exhaust tips.
A pair of bullets right in front of the current tips.
A short bullet put in place of the current resonator (The Dynomouth mod).
A long bullet in place of the resonator for more sound deadening.
Dynomat.
A bullet in place of the resonator, a bullet before each tip, and Dynomat...
Any mix and match of the above options to suit your tastes.
Good luck
Dave

I added some inexpensive trunk insulation to mine. Look at the link below.

I second that! My flowmaster is plenty loud for me.. I plan on doing an electric cutout anyway soon as I get headers and OR y-pipe.

I have an lt1 with headers and loudmouth. When I first got it done I was not happy. I found it to be too loud for my liking. I switched the tips to Borla single intercooled tips and it helped alot. I get compliments all the time from other f-body owners with other set ups. good luck

Replace the resonator with a dynomax bullet (dynomouth). Sounds great, but no rasp and litle drone and resonance in the car.
