Post looking for a ground in 2001 T/A

I finally got around to wiring up my radar detector last night. Just like in the Camaro, I stuck it on the windshield, just above the mirror and ran the power cord under the headliner over to the driver's side A-Pillar and down to the fuse box.

I can't seem to find a good ground location in my 2001 T/A to hook into. On the Camaro, I found a screw to use, but can't find one on the T/A.

I ended up hooking up to the PURPLE wire on the driving lights switch. Worked great .... until I turned on the driving lights, at which point it turned off the radar detector. DOH !

So, anyone know which wire is ground ALL THE TIME? Or, do I have to break out the multi-meter and check each wire with lights on/off and key on/off ...

Come on ... I know someone knows this one ...

Just get your own self tapping metal screw and make your own ground. All you have to do is screw it into the chassis somewhere. Just make sure you don't puncture the shell of the car.

But see .. I'm trying to keep from having to remove any of the trim panels to get to anything. I'm lazy.
