I am looking to get a LS1 camro 98+. What shoudl i be looking at for miles? I will be modding it after i get soem money after buying it. I would like to say around $13,000. It has to be a 6 spd. How reliable are these cars? What am i looking at being able to get out of the engine as far as miles? Anything i should look at as far as maintence taht is priecy to be done? Any recalls?

 

There is an 6 speed 99 SS in the for sale section with ~ 50k for 12.5. That's how I got my SS, off a message board. Mine has been pretty reliable, should easily go > 150k with proper maintenance.
