any car that i know of that can pull over 400 rwhp and still get over 20 miles per gallon is a damn good design. Why would someone compare something engineered 30 years ago to something modern. The ls1 is one of the most advanced V8's. It was designed for the street, for 27 mpg on the freeway, and low and behold you bore them out to a 422 and you can run 10's N/A. That guy has his foot in his mouth, he never realy explains anything, he just starts talking smack. Why b/c he has an older car so his is the best. Some people just don't give up, i think the DOHC 4.6 is an awsome design, and i would probably never buy a mustang again, just b/c i don't want one doesn't mean that they are crap, it is an opinion.
