I tookoff my cats and I'm running a spintech muffler and it has no rasp.

 

Are spintech mufflers similar to Bullett mufflers?

 

I got Hooker LTs with CCI inserts in the them. You can customize how you want them to sound. It sounded fine so I left them as they came out of the box. After that it's an off road Y and an edelbrock muffler. Doesn't sound raspy to me at all. I can get you a sound clip if you like.

 

I would be interested in hearing that....

I'll see if I can get my laptop to do that for me tomorrow. CCI, I can't remember what it stands for but I got them out of the JEGS catalog if that helps. You can also look online at their website.
