Locktight the rocker arm studs???? ASAP

Locktight the rocker arm studs???? ASAP

do i need to locktight the rocker arm studs???

and if i do, how do i get all the oil off of them and out of the bolt holes?

I didn't locktite mine. I did put teflon paste (sealer) on the intake bolts only, because the porting cuts into the bolt hole, and oil can get pulled around the bolts under high vacuum conditions.

If you're running unported stock heads, I don't think you have to put any type of sealer on any of the rocker arm bolts.

those bolts are net lash. They will tighten themselves. I WOULD try to clean off as much oil as possible. 22lb/ft should do it for torqueing them down.
