Befor i bought my 02 Z28 I looked at 2 other LS1 Camaros and on all the engine would give off like a light lifter noise after warmed up, is this just me or is there somthing i can do to help this noise on my Camaro??

 

it's probably either the famed piston slap....but that is during warm up.

or you're just hearing the roller rockers, they are naturally noisier.

plus i've heard people talk of aluminum block and heads transmitting more noise than iron.

maybe try some thicker oil??....or would you want thinner to get into the clearances better...hmmm...

brain fart.

 

You just need some long tube headers. Then you won't hear that noise anymore.
