Is a leaky power steering pump a common LS1 issue?
I am wondering because I took mine in before the warranty was up and they replaced the rack and pinion and did some other stuff, and it is still leaking

The dealership probably at first just tried to mickey mouse the fix, and now they will actully fix the problem, my guess. I got a 98 camaro and so far so good. The pump probably had a defect from factory, no biggie their replacing it and under warrenty, good catching this before warrenty was done. Good luck.
