L92 vs AFR heads
L92 vs AFR heads
Its an old article but I thought I would post it here as a reference. Some good info there...at least for me.

I don't care for that comparison at all, especially after seeing the AFR heads backing up by .600" lift. NEVER have I seen a 205 or 225 AFR head back up that early, and judging by the numbers they posted, it may have started even before .550". They said there was no adapter on the intake side - WHY BOTHER TO PUT THEM ON THE BENCH!?
However, it clearly shows that the L92 heads lack severely on the exhaust side. I would have liked to see track testing. I've seen only one L92 headed car run well, and that was after ALOT of work to the heads.
