OK..i will very possibly be getting a 2002 A4 z this week..I have been driving a 97 6 speed for a while..so the questions I have may seem dumb..i know all the ones i asked before about the lt1 seemed dumb at the time..but i learned a lot..Anyways..

1. is there a fix for knock sensor like the LT4 knock module for an LT1?

2. What exactly does a stall converter /lockup..? do...? <really dumb i guess...but i ve always ran manuals..so i never bothered to care..til now

3. If i get an SS Hood is there a difference in the types of cai systems i can use..do i understand correctly that the ss hoods that are funftional work with the factory air intake already there..?? If so ive seen places selling kits to make LS1 ss hood functional..why is that..
