No auto option in Z06.

No removable top.

Tires will be hella expensive compared w/ the $120.00 Kumho's I run on my SS.

For about 3K, a heads & cam package will put your current SS's power level at around the 400RWHP mark.


Handling on the SS could certianly be improved upon - how cost effective and how close to the Z06 you could get are unknowns.

For $540.00/month, you've got a hell of a lot of options.

well he does appear set in his ways.. the man wants a vette..

its been stated above alrdy but for a few grand you could achieve the same HP levels but the handling.. and the looks.. your always gonna be owned. if you could afford it.. DO IT! <insert you definition of afford..) for me it might be fun for a while, but i cant really think of anything right of the top of my head thats worth living paycheck to paycheck for.. not sex, drugs.. or vettes.. >_< would be awsome though.

If I could afford to do it I would already have made my decision... and it wouldn't involve asking any of us, that's for damn sure.

Love F-Bodys and we can be made just as fast, but man there's just something special about having a Z06.

 

Well personally...dare I say this...I think the SS MAY look a little better than a Corvette in some ways. They are just a totally different type of car...the Corvette is like a car that says "I know im fast, I don't have to prove it" and the SS is more of a car that says "Im fast wanna see". There definatly is something about seeing that silver emblem on the side of a Corvette that says "ZO6 405hp" but unless I was rich, or highly wealthy, I would fix up my SS, but thats me. Do what YOU want to do.
