K&N v/s Air Hog
K&N v/s Air Hog
Hello, Has K& N lost the contest of best high flow filter? I seen a Air Hog the other day. It looks a little bit bigger airflow wise.Any experience or comments on which one is better? Thanks
Re: K&N v/s Air Hog
i'm sure psychocabbage will jump all over this one.
there has been some discussions in the past few years that the "high flow" filters can actually rob hp.
i'm not sure how...kindda defys logic.
but you do have to watch for excess oilling...and the resulting fouling of the maf sensor

Paper filter makes 3rwhp more than the others.
No filter and the K&N and Amsoil showed the same rwhp.. a loss over the paper one.. I did this on 2 different occasions over 40 pulls total..
Paper rules all around..
