Just a little note

I dont know if anyone ever has ever posted this, but there is a problem with the SLP or any Cold air induction the picks up air under the air box. If you drive in the rain it will soak it up and if it is raining hard enough it will Hydrolock your engine. Happend to me a few weeks ago. So I pluged it and it runs great. I will have to just use it when its nice outside. Just a little info for you guys.

I have the FTRA and carry the block off plate in the car. When it starts raining I put it in and remove the rubber seal on the front of the box. Haven't had any problems even down here in "sunny" Florida for the last couple years. I think the only time it would be a problem is if I hit a deep puddle at speed without the block off plate installed.

I have the SSRA and so far no problems. I made a block off foam insert for my lower scoop though. When it rains I pop it in for piece of mind. It's been documented that people have hydrolocked thier engines using FTRA, SSRA or SLP cai but it's rare.

Usually it happens when they run through a deep puddle caused by a heavy rain. Easy insurance policy is to make a block off plate/foam insert or just find the extra horses some where else.

I wouldn't trade my SSRA though. I love the extra top end zip it gives me
