Just finished FLP Header install, something interesting happened...

Hey guys. Just drove my baby today. Other than the FLP Headers, "I'm running the high-flow cats, not offroads", I installed the Taylor Thundervolt 10.4mm wires, and NGK TR-55 spark plugs, and all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!! My car FLIES Now. Well, not really, because I barely touch gas pedal, and I'm spinning my tires. Did anyone else notice a huge gain after installing headers? I'm going to dyno after my predator arrives, but I dunno if the plugs helped, or what. My car didn't have THIS much power before headers. Oh, and how often do you guys recommend changing the NGK TR-55's?

PS: Finally, what steps should I take now to improve traction? My current mods are in sig. All info is appreciated, thanks.

Hell yes, headers make a giant power increase on the L*1 motors!

FLP's Some lower control arms and a torque arm should help in the traction department.

Just ordered upper and lower panhard rods, some lca relocation brackets. Now, as far as a torque arm, I'm hearing good and bad stuff. Should I get a torque arm, or not? I hear that they give you a lot of vibration on the car? What do you guys think? Which brand? Let me know, thanks.

I too noticed a nice power gain with FLP's. Unfortunately they hit the floor and are 1/2" from the oil drain plug.

Sounda Bada$$ with the Corsa. My only complaint is that it is kinda quiet at idle. "If your in the car." Well, the corsa is a nice exhaust, but I guess you can get sick of it at times. Sometimes I wish I had a louder exhaust, though I do appreciate the fact my car is now loud as hell from the outside, and a nice tolerable tone on the inside of the car. Sometimes I wish that sound inside the car. When I first finished the header install, I drove around for a bit without my Corsa connected, and it was LOUD!!!!!!!! I just put my corsa on tonight, and got pulled over like 15 mins later. Cop let me go, but said I need to slow down. Needless to say, I barely touched my gas pedal. Gotta watch that one.

My car went from kinda quiet with stock manifolds/Y/cats/Hooker catback to LOUD with the FLPs/offroad/Hooker setup. I am going to put the cats back on soon.
