Post Just bought a 1999 Z28 M6,$13,000

What would you guys do next to this car I just bought to increase the 1/4 mile performance & HP?
The car is a 1999 Camaro Z28 (Red) with 33,300 miles. The car came with Trac control, T-tops, etc. The mods on the car as I bought the car are; Free mods, SLP Air box, ported air flow meter, BBK headers& Y-pipe, Flowmaster cat back, Moser 12 bolt rear-3.73's, metco LCA's, Hurst shifter and adjustable drag shocks. Everything else seems to be stock. Any idea's on what I should expect to see on a dyno at SLP day at Englishtown this coming October? Thanks for any advise guys,

install a cutout on that flowmaster...should see a cool 5-10hp and it's only about $50 installed.

you could also look into maybe a set of pullies or a ported throttle body, or installing an LS6 intake

Wink

Sold on the cutout. For .15 or a 1.5mph gain in the quarter for $50 how can you go wrong. Thanks for the idea. The heads and cam thing will be awhile before I can save those kind of pennies.

our heads already flow well so just get a nice fat cam for 400 and then install it urself *isn't that hard to do once you get into it*

then buy a nice nitrous system *dry kit so you don't blow up your intake due to a burp* and you will have more go power than you will know how to handle
