Just Got Back From The Track. What Do You Think???

I just came back from Long Island Drag and I have to tell you guys that place s u c k s elephant *****.I got there a little late due to NY traffic and as I'm paying $45 to race I notice a Range Rover driving on the track.I asked the lady whats going on she tells me they are drying the track by driving regular cars up and down the track. This track has no blower to dry it in case of rain. Well I was able to make one pass which was right off the trailer and two more in the rain with my wipers on.The first run I had which was right off the trailer netted me a 12.56@114.14 spinning in first shifting god knows what rpm from 1st to 2nd,shifting at 5000 from 2nd to 3rd,and shifting at 6000 from 3rd to 4th.My 60ft. was 2.062,660ft at 8.240@89.383mph.This was my first run with this car since I bought it last week. The other two runs are not worth mentioning.Visually I can see that the car has Mac headers with cats on the y pipe and Borla exhaust. The heads are stamped cnc 1892 so I think they're ported. But I don't know if it has a stock or aftermarket cam.I don't know the history of this car because I bought it from my friend who was the second owner and got it from a dealer like this.I think this car with a sticky track ,good launch and good shifts at 6000 rpm should see a high 11's@115-117mph.What do you guys think?

if your friend didnt port the heads or put a cam in it then it doesnt have one. no dealership is gonna port the heads and put a cam in there cars and then sell them for no profit. 12.5 with lid headers and exhaust? if i didnt knock a second off my stock time with those mods i'd be pissed.

The original owner of this car lived in Texas. In 2000 a dealer up in New Hampshire sold it to my friend. So the original owner did the mods.CASPER97TA -I do not have a lid on this car.As i said earlier that this was a very poor run.I'm pretty sure that this car has a 117mph in her with a lid and ported t/b.ET means nothing. The power is in the MPH. StylezZ28-Englishtown is a very good track but it was closed for the season.

They let you run while it's raining? They shouldn't let anyone (even a 17 sec. SUV) race if they track is just a little damp and they they sure as hell shouldn't be allowing anything (including a school bus) to make a pass when it's actually raining.
