Jim Pace supplied FIPK with wrong filter
Just received my FIPK from Jim Pace which went via my sister's in Maryland. Anyway, as usual I had to pay a shedload of transit and import taxes but I figured it would be worth it to get my hands on an FIPK. Opened it and found some dumster at K&N had stuck in the wrong filter. The kit was correct, it was just the critical filter that was wrong. So I've now got an FIPK in the UK with a big cone filter that might just fit under the hood of a Dodge Ram. Infuriating! Jim Pace please answer my e-mail as I'm a very disappointed man! Lucky I didn't rip out the old airbox before I checked it.

Oh don't get me wrong, I know it's not the fault of Jim Pace and I have to say their service was excellent. I'm not knocking them, they couldn't have known as the filter comes in a sealed box inside the main kit. I mentioned the supplier just incase someone lese had it happen to them from a bad batch or something but it seems it's an isolated incident and just happens to be the one where it is most inconvenient half way across the other side of the world. Still annoying as even if they send me a new filter, I'll still have to pay more import taxes...
