Whats the specs on the LS6? Isn't it like a 400 CI Block or am I thinking of another engine?

Nope, LS6 is the same as an LS1, except the LS6 has better oiling passages.

The LS6 454 was bigger, yeah

But the Gen III LS6 is the same size as the LS1, both 5.7 liters. The LS2 is a 6 liter, the LS7 will be a 7 liter

The LS6 block has thicker sidewalls. You can't get the over 4"-ish bore w/ an ls1. The LS2 block is the "purfect square" bore/stroke. like 4.02/4.00.... Pretty darn close.

I say GM should stop talking liters. I don't live in Europe da*mit. When having conversations with "the older crowd"...alot of times they'll ask what it is in my car. I'll tell em it's a 5.7 which equates out to a 350...So when I tell em it's a 347..they get on my case. Too much rounding off numbers and such.
