i am 17, perfect record, State Farm, Full Coverage with all that driving instructions and with honor roll and i pay 3 grand a year. I also got a 2002 Convertible though... but don't think its much of a difference...

19, perfect record, 99 TA, honor roll doesn't apply with high performance cars, and mine is $2,100 every 6. That's with State Farm as well (South Dakota)

Try Esurance.com. Everywhere I got quotes from was like 5000/yr but with Esurance.com I have it for $800.00 every 6 months. Thats insanely low for me. I'm 21 with about 4 speeding tickets and a 2002 Z28. Try it! Esurance.com

I'm not sure what you can expect to pay because you can't really compare what you might pay to my rate-I'm 26, but I do live in LA, and our insurance is among the highest. I pay 1300 a year. Your best bet is to get insured with your parents if possible-you can ususally get a good break. The lowest rates I've seen are with State Farm, but I don't think they're accepting new policies, and Progressive Online. If you have mods you want to insure, there are some companies that consider themselves "family companies"-they wouldn't insure my car because I wanted my hood and exhaust covered. I hope this helps, good luck!
