cars with 2.73 gearing got the steel shaft, not aluminum.

i figured i would go ahead and say it too, since everybody else has..... lol

bsmith, is right on the money. If you have the 2.73 gears (GU2) you have the STEEL driveshaft, if you have the performance axel package (GU5) you have an aluminum unit.

Look under the car at the driveshaft, is it rusted? if it is, it is the steel unit, if it is unrusted, it is the aluminum unit.
