Installed subframe connectors, bumpier ride?

I just had my SLP bolt-on's installed today. I've noticed that turns are MUCH more responsive, but is it my imagination, or do they make the ride bumpier?

If you stiffen the car up you're going to feel more of the bumps in the road. Comes with the territory.

You are sure they were installed correctly, though? All four wheels were level and under load?

I dunno how they could have been installed any differently? They had it up on the rack and installed them just like the directions said. I just dont see how it fixes the rattles if it creates a stiffer/bumpier ride?

LOL, I understand your dilemma!
The squeaks start due to the fact the our f-bodies flex a LOT, thereby causing creases & crevices not to fit properly, which in turn results in squeaks.

Trust me, without the SFC's, you would have gotten squeaks, which is not to say that you won't get squeaks with them on, and, at least your body will tend to stay straight as opposed to too much flex & rear quarter creases & so on & so on...

I figure the squeaks you get with SFC's will be fixed easily, such as replacing things, where-as without SFC's, the body will torque and once your car gets stress-torques, there's no way you're going to be able to get rid of them, 'cept for putting your car on a frame rack

Tons more tighter. Actually you will get a much better "feel" as to what the suspension is doing, if your struts/shock/springs setup is mushy, you'll be able to feel it better, yet your car will still handle better as well.

They'll definately stiffin things up, just because you're not flexing as much. Try going into/out of a drive way with a bend to it, I'm sure you'll notice the car hardly flexes.

Another thing, I'm with everyone else who thinks it's the #1 suspension mod.

ANY TIME YOU MAKE THE CAR BETTER FOR A TRACK YOU WILL COMPROMISE ITS PLUSH RIDE....

its pretty simple concept.. race cars arent plush... stiffer is better for handling and speed.. so choose what you want and commit or stay in the middle of the road and just have "ok" instead of "great" hangling or ride.

This same attribute will be seen when you add poly bushings in your tranny mount, torque arm mount or poly all around (LCA, panhard)
