1999 Trans Am WS6 6 spd, Granatelli Motorsports Induction Lid, MAF, Ported MAF Housing, Holley Aluminum Intake, 30lb injectors, LS1 hotcam, NOS Dry 100, Centerforce Clutch, B&M Ripper, Dynatech LongTubes, Electronic Cutouts, Custom 3 inch Y-pipe, Flowmaster, Dual Gauge pod, Auto meter pro shift light, Billet pedals, Fuel rail covers, TA girdle, 4.56 gears

most of this senseless? i've heard several opinions. car sounds great though! but, the 4.56 gears.....wouldn't that slow you down with the M6 (roadwise) and wouldn't there be a bit of wear on the engine from those mods?

Question

Are you looking to buy this car? If so I wouldn't, this car is pretty modified and was most likely not driven gingerly. These mods are good ones though that low of a rear gear would make you tach pretty high on the freeway. Get a stock one and mod it yourself!

Unless of course this car was driven by a little old lady and she just used it to drive to church every Sunday.

Thumbs up

Agreed. It's best to get a stock car and mod it. This way you'll know your baby inside and out and have a feel for it. Plus it's a good learning experience if you do the mods yourself.

I'd say it's a pretty damn quick ride. But I think that 4.56 gears is a little too much. I wouldn't want to go any shorter than a 4.10. Gawd, you could start the car in 3rd and still have to shift at 15 mph!!! :P

i believe that car is running in the 12s or 13s as a best. don't remember exactly, i'll have to check up on that again. but i know that was before some other mods went on.
