WTF? I thought a lifter was bad, so I used a piece of hose to find the location. Turns out it is an injector making the ticking noise. Is that normal after 63000 miles? Should I just find a round of 28lb injectors and replace them all? Does this noise even matter?

 

may formula has only 6k on the odometer and it has had the ticking noise since the day it rolled out of the dealer showroom. I was told it was the fuel injectors also. If the car isn't running rough like one cylinder isn't getting fuel I would worry about it. Is it only one injector or are they all doing it?

 

My stock injectors all ticked. Now that I have 50# injectors, they tick even louder.

Yeah it seems like just the one injector. very localized. Maybe I could try some kind of injector cleaner/lubricant?
