Hello all, I am finally back... I have been away for a while. I have some questions... is there any gain at all by pluging the AIR hole on a lid for a 2000 LS1 and installing a breather on the AIR line???or should I just leave the AIR pluged into the lid because it will not increase performance at all?????

No. No measurable performance gains.

He's right. No measureable gain. Get an airbox lid. That's a measurable gain. The AIR pump should only run for a few minutes after start-up anyway.
