Ignition Problem
Ignition Problem
First post here. Hope someone can shed some light on this problem that started last year and has gotten worse.
I start the car and it idles okay, but, when I drive away, after about 300 feet, the engine will quit. Turning the key to start produces nothing. After waiting a few minutes, the car will start and run for about 300 feet than quit again.
It's like a circuit breaker or thermal overload has kicked out, then when cooled off functions normally for a short time.
I'm thinking it's the ignition relay. Thanks for any help.
