Ignition coil testing?

Is there a procedure for testing the coil packs using a multimeter published somewhere? I've searched and find a few threads asking about the ohm readings, but no responses.
Surely someone has written a procedure of which pins, etc to read the resistance on and their acceptable values?
Or better yet, anyone know of an ignition simulator / tester for the LS1 coil packs that are sold?? I have one for my Buick that will simulate up to 10k rpms to find a weak coil that the ohm test doesn't always find.
Thanks

Only thing I can think of is visit gearchatter.com and look up EI System Diagnosis or one of the coil codes (0351-0358) for your year. The coil codes have a diagram and some testing values. Sorry, not much help....

Thanks for the link! What a huge wealth of information on that site. It's been bookmarked for good.
Thanks
