If I remove the catalytic converter.....

If I remove the catalytic converter how much louder will my car be? I don't want it louder, I just more HP. And how much HP gains should I expect? I live in Miami and we don't have emmissions inspections. I think I read somewhere about knocking out the insides of the catalytic converter. I also want to know if there are any sensors I need to replace?

It will be louder, but I doubt it will be a lot louder since you still have your stock cat back. Just make sure to buy some 02 simms so you don't throw a code.

It will definitely be louder. The loudness will depend on the type of system you're running. As for me I'm running headers with off-road ypipe (no cats) and cutouts. Its WAY LOUD!!
