Post I Need help installing ASP Crank & Alt Pullies!!!

I have a '98 SS A4 with loudmouth, MAF ends, and whisper lid w/K&N. I recently ordered a set of the underdrive crank and alt pulleys from ASP. Before I install them I have a few questions:

1. How do I stop the crank from turning? Someone told me I might need a flywheel holder for something?

2. The directions say I need a new crank bolt. Where can I get a new one from? Does gmpartsdirect.com have it?

3. Do I need a new bolt for the alt pulley too?

4. Do I need to replace both belts or just one? The pulleys only came with one belt.

5. I am assuming that the alt pulley is replacing the pulley attached to the alternator, just to the right of the crank pulley, correct?

6. The directions say to tighten the new crank bolt to 37 ft./lbs. and then tighten an additional 120 degrees. How do I measure the 120 degrees?

Any answers are greatly appreciated.

you need to go to autozone and rent a 5 ton puller and when you use it u have to take the fans out then put a socket into where the bolt was in the pulley in the crankshaft. to get the pulley to stop moving put the car in drive

2. The directions say I need a new crank bolt. Where can I get a new one from? Does gmpartsdirect.com have it? u dont need it

3. Do I need a new bolt for the alt pulley too? nope

4. Do I need to replace both belts or just one? The pulleys only came with one belt. you need to replace both... well i did

5. I am assuming that the alt pulley is replacing the pulley attached to the alternator, just to the right of the crank pulley, correct? exatcly i had to take the alternator off to get the whell to stop spinning

6. The directions say to tighten the new crank bolt to 37 ft./lbs. and then tighten an additional 120 degrees. How do I measure the 120 degrees? umm just tighten it with the bolt, then loosen it and the end of the crankshaft pulley must match with the thing...youll see it.. mine didnt by like 3 cm

hope that helps let me know how it goes...
Any answers are greatly appreciated.

1. put the car in drive and loosen the bolt. then u need to go to autozone and get a 5 ton puller u can return it and get your money back. put a socket in the hole where the bolt was.
2. i didnt need it
3. no
4. yes i had both belts
5. yes thats correct, i had to take the alternator off to get it to stop spinning
6. i just tightened it by hand as hard as i could. tighten the bolt then take it out and see if it matches. the pulley has to be exactly lined up mine was 3cm off and the pulley is perfect so a little off is ok

the first reply i wrote in the quote so nothin showed up.
