Post I need help

I have a 99 Pontiac Trans Am I am looking to put a little money into. I talked to a guy at the race track and he referred me to you guy's. I have about $2000.00 dollars to spend. Just curious what you guy's think I should buy with that money

Cold-air lid, K&N filter, cat-back, headers, gears.

Some of the items may change also depending on your tranny type. If you have an auto, you'll want a stall converter. If you have a manual, go with a better clutch.

Thumbs up

Yep,what he said. The first thing you should buy is a lid/cat-back.Depending on which you go with that'll give you another 15-20 RWHP for the least amount of money. Also if you have an automatic tranny then definately get a stall converter. The right one can knock off around .4-.5 from your 1/4 times.Good luck.Something else you should look into is some sticky tires like drag radials. Also,if you have t-tops then you should get sub-frame connectors so your car won't develope rattles later on in life.Good luck and congrats on the ride!

Nikkev, you said that a stall converter is key for an A4.

Do you, or anyone else recommend one thats good to go with. I won't be doing gears or heads...just the usual lid/cat mods and small others.

Thanks
