I LOVE this CAR!!!!

MAN, I LOVE this car.
Handles pretty well, interior is pretty nice, LOVE the styling and BEST of ALL, I LOVE the power.
Used to own a turbo crx, turbo MR2, 300zx TT, and an accord.. NOTHING else compares with the z28!!!!
GO LS1!!!!
thats all.

yup gotta love the ls1, the only thing i would change is to make it alittle more torquie in the low rpm's like the lt1. i used to have an lt1 but i was smart and sold it to a good friend so when ever i miss the lt1 its just a phone call away.

my dad has a 2001 vett. I deffinatly has a distinctive sound in the high rpms. Also it is faster because of the much lighter wieght. As far as the engine goes it is the same besides the intake and exhaust(except he got lucky and got an ls6 block) i got the ls1 block. I actually like the handling of my ss. The vette handles better but mine holds ground well.

congrats on the car, the vettes have true dual exhaust, different rail covers and intake. But its the same engine really.

That's a VERY solvable problem.

Spend about $150 on a 35mm front sway bar. Then if it isn't good enough drop about $500 more for springs and shocks.

Night and day difference.

I love my 99 TA! I got it last week, and it is a blast. I have to agree on whoever said that it needed a little more low end torque, that is true, but I admit, I did have the LS1 under rated.

LS1 is sweet

It needs more low end torque? For what? The LS1 puts up the numbers....
