Cool I have been to no-mans land and back

As a young man I heard stories and fairy tales about it.

Some say you can't do it.

Some say it's impossible.

Few men have accomplished and fewer have done it on their own.

With the help, suggestions, encouragement and moral support from this very message board...I have changed the rear passenger spark plug and lived to tell about it.

God bless America

with a set of headers it's not too bad. I had a pretty smooth method at first though... only took an hour. LOL

i guess i just failed to see the "technical" aspect of the post....or how it could aid others...more than likely it would deter guys from trying something themselves.

but whatever...

humor away...it's your LS1 tech too

If you failed to see the value of the post then why not just ignore it?

This is a lamer. this is the kind of person I'd sandbag in a race, then double or nothing and take their $500, just for being a smartass when someone else is tryin to be friendly.

well i didn't ignore it cause i attempted to add a small bit of usefull info:

"pull the AIR tube and losen the coil packs....simple"

as for:
"This is a lamer. this is the kind of person I'd sandbag in a race, then double or nothing and take their $500"

i'd never get in a race like that so whatever....

"Just trying to lighten up the atmosphere with a little humor"

i was under the impression that is what "The Lounge" was for...could be wrong

Re: I have been to no-mans land and back

Changing the passenger rear plug was a major pain for me too. I need to have a machine shop make me one of those shortened sockets like what SLP sells. As for loosening the coil packs, the rear most one was also a pain to get to the bolts too. I don't see how it could only take 10minutes, but I suppose a shortened bit would help out alot though.

lol where I live, when you race, it's put up or shut up. I don't often race for money, but some people get on my last nerve. As for humor, who's to say where it belongs and where it doesn't? If you need technical help with spark plugs, you've got more problems than this forum can help with. lol
