hypertech question

Is it difficult to program using the hypertech programmer? Is there a website that might help?

Real easy but takes like 15 minutes or more to program so make sure that everything that will drain power is off. Some peeps hook up battery charger but I never did. Just hook it up to port under dash and turn key to just on postion and it will get your car Vin and then just set what you want it will ask you some things like do you want power tuning and cooling temp and rpm limit and so forth. Hope you have a book cause they are a few things you should read before using. P.S don't run down your battery!!

The HPP3 is simple to use and it will ask you specific questions. All you do is answer yes/no questions and it does take awhile to reprogram those certain parameters. It is not a bad programmer and it one of our only choices for the 1998's. The Diablo Predator is only for 1999+ model and far surpasses the HPP3.

LS1 Edit is the best when it comes to tweaking the PCM

Depends on your skill level. LS1 Edit is not user friendly and you can mess up easily. If you are looking for simple tweaks, a programmer is the simplest.
