Question Hurst shifter question

I threw in the hurst shifter today, and noticed that it is kinda cocked to the right, instead of almost straight up like the stock shifter. I am also using the stock ****, still looking for a hurst ****. I am not sure I am liking the way it is. Is it suppose to be like this and could I thorw the factory one back on, just keeping the base?

Which Hurst Shifter? the OEM hurst, Competition plus or Billet plus? either way it should angle towards the driver and no you can't use the OEM shifter's stick on one of the Hurst.

SLP sales the Hurst Leather **** with the "H" on it.
