HP/TQ to gain with this?

What would be the difference in hp/tq gained by these two exhaust set ups?

1. Jet Hot LT - X-Pipe - Bullets/Racing muffler dumped before axle.

2. Jet Hot LT - Aftermarket Y- Pipe - GMMG Catback/Borla/Etc.

Money is no option. Is it really worth the possible fumes etc. for the dumps. Also i know #1 will be louder but i also heard #1 would be quieter at idle than #2?

I have been trying to find this out just by searching but still really dont know. Thanks

If you're worried about fumes and $ is no problem then just run the pipes out the back.

i dont really trust a shop around here enough to do it right and im not skilled enough. I also heard that by the time you run them out the back there are so many bends it kinda sucks.

no one knows the differences in hp or even what one of the setups would produce? im just looking for an educated guess even.

honestly..probably within 5hp/tq or each other...the duals being a bit higher peak, but the gmmg giving a bit more low end torque

why not go for the GMMG and put a pair of cutouts on the Ypipe...that way you can go basically open headers when you want to reallly run

i highly recommend doing some kind of switch for the exhaust. It gets REALLY loud. Either the borla or get a cutout. I'm am in the process of trying to figure out how to quiet mine down, but still be loud sometimes.

i beleive www.quicktimeperformance.com sells offroad pipes for hooker headers with cutouts installed AND a pair of thier electric cutout plates.

this would be a great way to run basically open headers when you need, but still have a great sounding GMMG exhaust for the street

If i do long tubes - ory - gmmg should i really add cutouts? How much louder would it be? how much more gain? i also heard cutouts right after the headers dont really sound like open headers?

well it's gonna be ALOT louder...since the cutouts will be right under the front seats...probably only use them at the track.

as for hp. a single cutout on a regular catback has been known to pick up 10+ hp...

so two of them right after the collectors...should be at least that, possibly more
