How would this sound?

I have a 98 A4 Z28 and Im thinking about putting Edelbrock headers and Hooker cat-back on my car. How would that sound with Edelbrack headers, stock y-pipe and Hooker cat-back?

It looks like you are looking at the Edelbrock Shorties. The shorty headers will give some power, but only in high rpm's. I would ditch that idea and get the MAC Headers at a minimum. The MAC's are a midlength header and have better clearance than the LT's. Personally, I would get the LT's since they provide power at all rpm's and giv the biggest "area under the curve" gain. The Hooker Catback is a good choice and will sound sweet with any header choice.

Hey. Screw shortys. They are only good if you got a Mustang Get long tubes, only way to go unless you turbo. I have SLP LT's, 3" Y and Flowmaster catback and LOVE IT... its been noted one of the best sounding camaro's in NE Ohio! Also, teh stock Y would be very restrictive... get rid of that piece and get a nice off road 3" Y!! Ill try to get some video of my car after the clutch installed next week.
