how much will it cost to get a ss hood painted?

i will be getting a ss hood soon and i was wondering about how much will it cost to get the ss hood painted?

I pick mine up from the body shop on Wednesday. I bought a GM hood, and with $42/hour labor rate it came to a total of 521.20 for prep, supplies, fitting. He took the #'s right out of the book and it was 361.20 for the labor, and 160.00 for parts and supplies.

It really depends where you live. I paid $500 for my SS hood to be repainted due to slp's terrible job.....

I'm sure I could get that done back in Erie by a multitude of shops for right around $300, assuming it didn't have to have any scratches or big gouges repaired. That would include primer too.

I paid in the $300-325 range. They only painted the outside though.

well i just got an estimate last week from a well respected local body shop called RAS and the estimate was for painting an installing a new hood and a new spoiler which came to $500 but your local body shop will probably charge different but wothin a fifty dollar range oh and i think they said it would be $350 for just the hood
