Well there are hoods you could find for very cheap. You could go with an Ultra Z hood for about $700 or you could find brand new hoods on ebay for pretty cheap. I got mine off ebay here is the link to the same item. The guy sells hundreds of them. Its a great hood. May require some work on the latches even though it says it doesnt but its no big deal. For under $600 its the best deal ive ever seen on the SS hood. Hood looks and works great. It's by far the best upgrade for any Z28 owner. You get a killer appearance mod and some extra power in one purchase.

if you want Non functional, this place has them for $399
www.fiberglassfabricatorsinc.com

I bought mine from Ls1speed.com for $730, +$100 shipping...it's functional too. But you really don't benefit too much from it. I would have saved the money and bought the nonfunctional hood for $399 and put that extra money into a Fast Toys Ram Air Kit.

I checked around in the for sale forum and on cardomain.com and I ran across a SS hood, already paint my color in great shape for 500. You just have to search for a good deal. Good luck

Well a GM SS hood stickers for $17xx.00 but a good dealer doesn't Charge MSRP and they are usually around $1050.00 plus truck freight.

Hood Part #12369963
Inlet Screen # 13369964

If you wanna save some do, from the looks of it you just munched up a little corner. If that is all that's wrong, a good body shop who works with fiberglass (which is what the hood is made of anyway) can repair that crunch to not even noticable for MUCH cheaper than buying a new hood. It's up to you. Also depends on if there is any other damage than just the corner.

yea i know thats an option, but the hood has been fixed b4 due to some yackass who threw a beer bottle and tagged the hood.
i wanst thrilled with the finished result...so thats why i figure this is the best time to get a NEW hood...
