how much power
in case you were wondering...the LS1 comes stock with roller fulcrum 1.7 ratio rocker arms...
so new rockers would make a minimal improvement.
oh and not knowing much about the specifics of that particular cam...i'd guess on an automatic...that setup would give you 430rwhp

All cool except not enough stall
The LS6 and LS1 blocks are nearly identical. The LS6 has some additional windows for better bay-to-bay breathing. That is all. The LS1 block is actually preferred by guys making lots of power; better yet is the iron version found in some trucks.
2001 and 2002 cars have the LS6 intake manifold, which is worth ~5hp horsepower on a stock motor, and more on a modded motor. The FAST intake is even better.
Anywhere above 400rwhp and the thing you really need to worry about is your rear end. It'll probably be fine if you baby it, but if you want to do any hard launches, you can safely bet on shearing teeth off the pinion or ring gear in your future. That's another conversation, though -- do a search in the Drivetrain forum for more info.
Just a thought though, how many miles are on your bottom end. You might consider a ls2 short block with the new L92 heads and l76 intake. This combo seems is getting over 500 hp to the rear wheels and might be cheeper in the long run if you have to go in and rebuild your short block in a year or two.
yep. some people on here have gotten the new roller rockers but stock seems to hold up just nice. i know teke got the harland sharp ones, and i mean no offense to him in saying this but personally i think its a waste of money without a seriously built up engine to put them on. sure you get a few hp, but for the price, other mods like a tc, ls6 intake, or any combo of smaller bolt ons can be purchased if needed for the same price.
