Question How much for this car?

I'm going to look at a 1999 SS today. I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea what its worth. I've looked on KBB and NADA but I'm looking for some real world numbers.

1999 Camaro SS
LS1
Leather
6-Spd
T-Top
Chromes
22K
Black on Black
SS Dash Plaque, Key Fobs, Floor Mats.
Any Ideas?

Dave

I'd estimate that it's worth around $20k...just a ballpark figure. Remind the salesman that $3,000 cash back and 0% financing brings the values of used cars down, too.

Well, I have been in the car business most my life in one way or another, and where you are has something to do with the cost of the car. But I just bought my 2000 Camaro SS, leather, t-tops, M6, chrome ZR-1 wheels, basically every option you can get on the car (excluding all of the SLP options)with 23k on it and I paid 18,900 for the car. I live in Alabama, but bought the car in Tennessee. Maybe that will help you some.

i also say that a fair price for the car is around $21k considering it is an SS with chrome wheels and hurst shifter, if you buy it spend the extra $800 and get a 3yr/36000 warrenty. Sounds like a really nice car too.

9 weeks ago i paid 23,500 for my 2001 TA, same as that SS except no WS6.

you can't say that because new cars have $3000 back that that makes the used cars worth less, a new SS will still like that '99 will still run about $29K with the rebate.
