How many here have had the PCM reprogrammed by the dealer - for whatever reason ?
Did you notice any difference in performance ?
Ever since I had mine done (to accept the new instrument cluster), it seems to run better than it did before.
Enough so that I think it rendered my HPP3 useless for the power programming - that's totally SOTP based, however.
As I side note, I had to have the HPP3 reprogrammed as well.
I have been trying to better the upper end feel of the car, and had the programming on. I decided to put the MAF ends on, but still could not tell much difference.
So, last night I put the PCM back to "stock" - that seemed to help somewhat.
Really weird ...
Any thoughts or comments are appreciated - thanks !
